via email from Roy Nagl, 2-27-06 I have attached a vintage photo showing a hangar belonging to Mexican aviator Juan Carmona, which I thought you might like to see. I believe the hangar is located in Aguila, in Mexico, as that name is also on the hangar, above Juan Carmona's name. Best wishes, Roy |
via email from Roy Nagl, 2-27-06 I do not know if he is one of the two people that are shown in front of the biplane. I have read on the Flight of Excelsior website that he was an aviation school classmate of Emilio Carranza, who you have a web page about. I bought the photo on eBay on the chance that it might show Carmona, besides his airplane. Perhaps, someone can identify the people in this enlargement. Best wishes, Roy Editor's Note: I am struck with the similarity between the figure on the right in the photo above with with others in which Emilio Carranza is identified. I am not prepared to make a positive identification at this time, but the available evidence is persuasive. |
