Léon Morane died October 20 1918, one of the millions of victims of the raging Spanish Influenza.
Russell Naughton's website mentions this, (it's written in French), and an online death notice taken from the now defunct New York
American newspaper mentions his date of death from a dispatch from Paris. So, again, Leon died of the Spanish Influenza. via email from Pete Jones, 5-21-08
