THE WALSH BROTHERS
By Geoffrey Rodliffe
You will find a rather complete and fascinating history of Leo and Vivian Walsh on this page. The introductory paragraph reads as follows:
"The next appearance on the aviation scene, was one of the most notable in our aviation history. In 1910, two Auckland brothers, Leo and Vivian Walsh, backed by an enthusiastic syndicate, imported a Howard Wright Farman biplane in kitset form. For the considerable sum of $1530, the kitset consisted mainly of rolls of wire and cloth along with the engine, and roughly cut spars and straits, with drawings supplied."

Sculptor needed to honour aviation heroes
From City Scene, published on 31 October, 2004
"A sculpture honouring the aviation achievements of the Walsh brothers is to be installed at Mission Bay's Selwyn Reserve in July 2005.
Mission Bay is the historic site of the first flying school in New Zealand, which Leo and Vivian Walsh established in 1915."

This page on the Auckland City website offers a brief but comprehensive revue of the career of the Walsh Brothers. It includes a very nice photograph of the brothers in their plane. You can access the page by clicking on the title above.
