Norwalk, Ohio, 1913 |
Paul E. Wilber of Rochester, N.Y., is one of the early fliers who built his own planes and taught himself to fly. His first flight was at Norwalk, Ohio on October 12, 1912. He was a civilian employee at Pensacola for three years in each of the two great wars, and has spent most of his life as an engineer. He is presently with the Dollinger Corp. of Rochester. The picture above shows Paul at the controls of his own plane in 1913. |
